Willow Home

This project was a joy from start to finish – a refresh and redesign in a grand, detached home in the Toronto Beaches neighbourhood. The scope of work included kitchen and family room update, and living room refresh. As shown, a full kitchen redo is not always necessary for spectacular results. Here we added custom-made drawer and door fronts; painted the existing crown moulding and boxes to match the new doors; changed the hardware to a soft honey bronze; replaced the backsplash with a lovely picket tile and added a custom-made pendant light and 4 classic counter stools. In the family room we added a cozy couch, textured, leather-woven side chair and colourful & bold commissioned artwork to add some punch.

The living room updates included resurfacing the existing brick fireplace with new rich, dark granite and constructing custom built-ins to sit on either side of the fireplace. The final outcome on this main-floor redesign fits this family of four to a “T” and includes rooms which are highly functional, cozy, and filled with layers & texture.
